Well… for next few days you can call me a green hands lunatic as the pigment is quite strong and permanent 🤷‍♀.
But it was worth it !

]]> Stress and Hope https://agatagabryszak.com/stress-and-hope/ Mon, 10 Oct 2022 16:10:14 +0000 https://agatagabryszak.com/?p=685 It’s been very stressful lately with everything that is going on.  Usually, I am very strong but it has been some days now that I feel the earth shaking beneath my feet and that is not an emotion I really like.  As a person that really likes the joy of life, I don’t really understand or to be more accurate I don’t want to understand the motives behind war, inflation, economic hardship etc.  Being always on the optimistic side, I decided to take action and make me feel better.

Action 1:  A call to my Mum!  Works every time!  She managed to soothe my soul with just two words of hers

Action 2: I am very close to buy a real life size Zebra and put it outside the shop!  Why I hear you asking?  Dunno!  Maybe by making it look more exotic it will make others and myself to feel better.  All it remains now is to convince my partner in crime that this is actually a good idea 🙂

That’s what he said….it doesn’t sound that difficult…does it?

Well….it is…trust me…it very much is!

Anyway, I am here now and thank you for being here too!

Since this is my first post, I better not leave any grey areas, not a huge fan of grey anyway….

In all honesty I do not consider myself an artist.  I am just a curious person.  I was told that watercolour is boring.  Well, maybe it is for some but definitely not for me.  Personally I think that watercolour is….alive.  It speaks to me….I reply….we have a proper, decent conversation everyday when I get the brush in my hands and then it guides me to all the shapes and colours that it would like to present itself

When I run out of colours or even when I don’t run out of colours sometimes, I will play with photos….  The biggest compliment I once got was from a very fine old lady that told me “Oh, I wish I could see the world through your eyes”

As for the artworks….yep….you guessed it right…..no colours available….no photos to play with…..but hey….there is some cement in that bag so let me see what I can do with it

That post is already too long and I am not a person of words so I better stop it here.  I promise though that since we got started with this, I will keep you updated with many hopefully interesting moments of my life.
